Visakhapatnam: MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas on Friday said that over the past year, the State Government has introduced several reforms that have led to vertical growth in the construction sector and generated significant employment.

He was speaking as the chief guest after inaugurating the 11th edition of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) Property Expo at Gadiraju Palace here.

He noted that delivering quality projects builds trust among prospective buyers, which in turn strengthens confidence in the builder community.

As many as 71 stalls have been set up, showcasing a wide range of projects including residential apartments, villas, open plots, commercial spaces, and both affordable and premium housing options. In line with previous editions, exclusive stalls by leading banks and financial institutions have also been arranged, offering home loan services with special discounts, competitive interest rates, and instant loan approvals.

MLAs Palla Srinivas Rao, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, attended the inaugural ceremony and visited various stalls. VMRDA Chairman MV Prannav Gopal, who later visited the expo, said Visakhapatnam realty is poised for a bright future due to launching of several big ticket projects like Google AI Data Center Hub, Cognizant and TCS by the TDP-led NDA Government.

Chairman of Credai Visakhapatnam Chapter, V Dharmender, said the property expo serves as a one-stop destination for those looking to buy property in rapidly developing areas such as Visakhapatnam. Bringing developers, bankers, and other stakeholders under one roof makes it easier for buyers to evaluate options and make informed decisions, he said.

Ashok Kumar , said recent government reforms, including faster approvals and greater transparency, have positively impacted the Andhra Pradesh real estate sector and are helping it return to normalcy. He added that Credai will continue to work with the government and urged buyers and investors to participate in the 11th Credai Property Expo with confidence.

Developers are offering special pricing, spot booking benefits, waivers on select charges, flexible payment plans, and early-bird offers available only during the expo, he added.
